Direct Sales

I recently started up my own business, I guess it is my 2nd business as I am also a free lance ASL interpreter. So this 2nd business of mine is selling Pampered Chef. And since I've signed up, recieved my packet and started learning about the business I'm finding a great appreciation for direct sales.

Last night I attended a Body Shop party put on by a friend of mine . I was not only buying fun products, but was supporting my friend in her business as well. Looking at the pictures of her kids hanging on the wall I was tempted to buy more, so she could earn more! I limited myself, however, and felt confident that the money was well spent.

Rather than spend my money in a store where the employees could care less about me and my purchase, I supported my community and aided in the growth of my friend's business.

At the end of the night I ended up booking a "Body Shop" party of my own. First, I wanted to support my friend even further. Second, a girl can never have to many "products," as my brother in law calls them. And last, because it will be a fun way to get a group of girls together and "hang out."
