Christmas Cookies
I realize Christmas is long gone, but if you had the memory of my daughter it would live on forever! She is constantly asking me if we can "paint cookies" again. Thanks to the Pioneer Woman's cookie recipe I've found a great method for kid friendly cookie decorating. You paint the cookies, while they are uncooked, with dyed egg yolks!! Then you cook them and they turn out like little stained glass masterpieces. The best part is the kids can't eat tons of frosting during the decorating. Come to think of it the cookies are raw, so they can't eat those either! Mwah, ha, ha, it is the best!
Here's Adelaide and Daddy working their magic on some unsuspecting cookies. (Dad says, "This is so easy I could do it in my sleep.")
