My Care Bears
Love-a-Lot Bear
(How can you not want to pinch those cheeks?)
Last night I dolled up my children and dragged them around town teaching them to take candy from strangers. Aren't I sick? Oh, you did it too? Ok, I feel better.(How can you not want to pinch those cheeks?)
In all seriousness, we had a blast. First, Nate and I walked our little Care Bears around downtown Fortuna where many business owners were passing out candy. Then, we headed over to Hydesville Community Church for "Trunk or Treat" night. They had set up about a dozen cars in 2 lines (trunks facing the center) and each trunk had a game or activity for the kids. There was a bean bag toss, darts, ring toss, tic-tac-toe, and a few others that Adelaide enjoyed playing. She kept saying,"lets play another game!" There were a few other games for older kids, but Funshine bear likes to keep things simple, so we did. Love-a-Lot bear was worn out after all the trick-or-treating we did downtown, and decided to sleep through all the fun and games. After our hot dog dinner, donuts, candy and too much fun we headed home to hibernate. Luckily the sugar high lasted just long enough for me to get a couple photos.
