It is 6:30am and I am awake. For the past few mornings I've been waking up around 5:30am- intensely hungry. I'm really very tired of this. I'm really very tired. But this baby will not give up and I can do nothing but give in. Hunger has always been an enemy I can't defeat, I don't think I want to. So I'm eating eggs (protein) and dry biscuits. To counteract the dry biscuits I'm drinking milk. It does a body good. And its helping me not choke. The biscuits really should be duck food, but I'm too hungry to care.

Recently a friend, who shall remain nameless, mentioned that I've been neglecting to post pictures of my children that are already on the other side of my skin. I mean to rectify that very situation this morning.

For the annual community Easter Egg Hunt (each town has their own) we decided to break tradition and NOT go to the Rio Dell Egg Hunt. Last year was quite the circus. They only let the kids find 6 eggs each before booting them off the field to stand in line for 30 minutes to claim a prize that may or may not be indicated inside the eggs they found but were NOT allowed to open. So this year we poached the Fortuna Hunt. The verdict? Worse. My kids amassed a total of 0 eggs. ZERO. A still talks about this. She keeps asking why all the other kids were rude and took lots of eggs(we saw kids with 8 or more eggs in their baskets!) Punks! She has decided that its because the kids must not love Jesus that they were so greedy. Thankfully my kids have great friends who shared their eggs.

And they're off!

I love this one.

Here they are sharing eggs.

Eating the fruits of their labor.

Bubba can't figure out why we got him up so early to carry around an empty bucket.

After such a profitable hunt we decided to head downtown for the carnival.

We hope this is the only picture of them in a cop car.
The officer was impressed by A's safety concerns.

Easter Hams.

Moments later they deflated the bunny.
Such well behaved children...
