A Fair to Remember

Okay, I know its a cheesy, over-used, title but I had to do it!

This Summer I entered a pie in the Humboldt County Fair. This was my first time ever entering anything in a fair, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. I won 2nd place in the "First Time Exhibitor" category for single crust pie. This little red ribbon has given me a taste of glory and made me vow to perfect my recipe and enter again next year in hopes of a blue ribbon!!
